The Second Edition offers full-color versions of the illustrations that appeared in the First Edition. Also included is the text of Ørberg's Colloquia Personarum: Latin–English Vocabulary.

About the Author:
Hans H. Ørberg received his MA from the University of Copenhagen in 1946. He taught at various high schools until 1963 and at the Grenaa Gymnasium until 1988. His series Lingua Latina per se Illustrata is published in Denmark by Domus Latina and distributed in the English-speaking world by Hackett Publishing Company.
